  • What are your hours?

    Current Fall hours:

    Monday - Thursday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM

    Friday & Saturday: 12:00PM - 9:00PM

    Sunday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

    Our kitchen closes one hour before the winery Monday - Thursday, and 30 minutes before the winery Friday - Sunday.

  • I like wine, how can I enjoy it while visiting your winery?

    Wine by the glass - is always available on a walk in basis. Don't worry, you can try a couple samples to find the right wine for you! Enjoy your glass inside the winery or out on our patio or lawn.

    Wine Flights* - Relax with your friends and sip on 3 different wines. Our flights are a seated indoor experience with table-side service.

    Wine Tasting* - Learn more about wine and Bonobo with our seated indoor wine tasting. Enjoy a sample 5 different wines, led by a passionate Bonobo team member.

    ** Wine flights & tastings are not offered on Saturdays. They may be available Sunday-Friday dependent on other winery activities.

  • Do we need a reservation?

    No, you do not need a reservation to visit Bonobo! You can purchase wine by the glass/small plates at the bar or opt for a walk-in seated wine tasting or flight.

    Yes, we do require 24+ advance reservations for our Wine & Food Pairings and Vintner’s Selection experiences. Book your reservation here.

  • Where can I sit? Can I reserve seating?

    We have seating areas both inside the main winery, on our large patio and lawn area. All seating in our main areas are on a first-come, first-served basis. Our gallery and patio rooms may be available depending on other winery activities.

    We do not accept general seating reservations. If you are interested in renting space or booking a larger group activity, please fill our our event form here.

  • Can I purchase a bottle of wine and open it at Bonobo?

    Per Bonobo policy, bottles cannot be opened and consumed on our property, so wine bottle sales are to-go only.

  • Can I bring my own alcoholic beverages? Can I leave with a glass of wine?

    The Michigan Liquor Control strictly prohibits bringing in your own alcohol or leaving our establisment with an open alcoholic beverage. Any outside alcohol brought in or open alcohol leaving will be swiftly confiscated and disposed of. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Do you serve food?

    Small Plates - Seasonal menu of tasty bites available for purchase during kitchen hours! Check out the menu here.

    *Wine & Food Pairing - Enjoy a curated 3 course paired wine & food tasting. The menu rotates monthly and is seasonally focused.

    *Vintner's Selection - This tasting includes some of our premier wines perfectly paired with unique bites from our kitchen to enhance the traditional tasting experience.

  • Can I bring my own food?

    We do not allow outside snacks, but small plates are available for purchase at our bar! Our small plates menu is full of fresh, made-to-order appetizers and snacks, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options!

  • Can I rent space or host an event at Bonobo Winery?

    Yes, we have several options to help you celebrate your special occasion. Please fill out an inquiry form with as much information as possible and we will get back to you .

  • Do you have a wine club?

    Yes, we do and you can learn more here!

  • I'm a member of your wine club and I have a question(s).

    Wine club members have a questions about your shipment, visiting us, etc? Email our Wine Club Manager Graham for assistance. wineclub@bonobowinery.com

  • Do you offer winery tours?

    Great question! We love being able to show you around our winery and vineyard and are able to accomodate tours on a case by case basis depending on weather, cellar & winery activities. We typcially need a minimum 24 hour notice to schedule a tour. To do so, please email your name, guest count preferred date & time to reservations@bonobowinery.com

  • Are minors welcome?

    Well-behaved and supervised kiddos are welcome to join their parent or guardian for a walk in visit to Bonobo! There are plenty of snacks on our small plates menu that they'll enjoy. We also have a water station, sparkling water, and a seasonal non-alcoholic cocktail available for purchase. Please note we do not have booster seats or high chairs.

  • Are you dog-friendly?

    Yes, we love dogs! We have plenty of tables on our patio and lawn where your furry friends can hang out. However, there are no dogs allowed inside the winery. Feel free to take your dogs on a walk through the vineyards!

  • Bonobo wines allergen information.

    All Bonobo wines are vegan, gluten free, celiac and shellfish safe and low on sulfites!

  • Do you ship out of state?

    Yes, we ship to almost every state! Check for your state and shop online here.

  • Do you have any non-alcoholic options?

    Yes. We have a seasonal, non-alcoholic cocktail available for purchase as well as sparkling water. We also have a complimentary, self-serve water station.

  • Do you have a dress-code?

    Please wear clothing and shoes that you are most comfortable in, whether casual or dressy. Shoes, shirts, pants and good vibes required.

  • Can I take engagement/wedding/prom/celebration photos on your property?

    Yes! We are so happy to hear you'd like Bonobo to be a part of your special photos. You are more than welcome to come and take photos anytime we are open for business. If you are looking for private space (no other guests around) either during open hours or before or after we open, there would be a charge for that, depending on what you'd like. To discuss options, please fill out the inquiry form.

  • Is smoking permitted?

    Smoking of any kind (including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited in and around Bonobo Winery including inside and outside the winery, in the vineyard, on the lawn, on the patio, and under the carport attached to the building. If you do need to smoke, Michigan Law requires a distance of at least 500 feet from the building in the parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Bonobo a clean, smoke-free environment.

  • We're seeking contributions for our non-profit, can you make a donation?

    We'd be happy to support your organization. Send requests to marketing@bonobowinery.com

  • Anything else I can't bring with me?

    We do not allow personal speakers/music players, personal microphones, feather boas, confetti of any sort including cannons, or adult-themed props. Please store them in your vehicle or mode of transportation prior to entering the winery.
